Robert Goddard Young D.C. N.D, The Unlawful Arrest That Changed Everything: How a Fraudulent Private Prosecution Destroyed My Life In September 2001, while my mother lay sick in the hospital, my father, Robert Goddard Young, began laying the groundwork for what would become an orchestrated campaign to disinherit, criminalize, and ultimately destroy me. I was the alternate executor of my mother’s estate and an heir. Under the terms of the will, if my brother—who had passed away in 1996—and I had both survived my father, I would have inherited everything. Ermie Has Feelers! What about my Mother?

Image
The opening track to my 1980 LP. Fun fact: I wrote " Ermie is a pauper and his mother was a whore. All their stinking lives they were always very poor." What I wanted to say...and should have recorded: "Ermie is a pauper and his mother ran a store." That's what I sang live. People get the wrong impression perhaps. They think The Life of Ermie Scub is autobiographical and perhaps it is in a subconscious way. But I didn't grow up poor and didn't wind up indigent until my own mother indeed did die when I was 45.We were an affluent family and my mother was a beacon of morality. Perhaps some of you recall the replicant in Blade Runner (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) when asked about his mother. Those who know know. P.S. I'm a big Philip K. Dick fan. https://gofund.me/8a6dd7bd

Known for their raw energy, theatrical performances, and genre-defying sound, they shared the stage with the likes of The Screamers, Bauhaus, and The Stranglers, leaving an indelible mark on Canada’s underground music scene. Despite their international reach, their music has been nearly impossible to find—until now. In a long-overdue move, John Paul Young is officially reissuing a definitive compilation CD that collects his most significant recordings, including lost tracks that have never been heard before. More than a simple re-release, this marks a reclamation of his legacy, a statement that the music—and the artist behind it—deserves its ri...
